Punjab Kisan Card
The most important part of the Chief Minister’s Punjab relief package is the Punjab Kisan Card. A budget of around 300 billion rupees has been allocated for the Kisan card by the Punjab government. Ms Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that under the Punjab Kisan Card, about five lakh farmers will be provided interest-free and easy loans. Ms. Maryam Nawaz said the Punjab Kisan Card would be provided only to registered farmers. Farmers who have not registered will not be able to benefit from this card.
It will work like a debit card through which farmers will meet their agriculture-related expenses. The objective of issuing a Kisan Card is to provide the best facilities to small farmers so they can get better-quality land production.

The Chief Minister of Punjab has also announced the provision of agricultural tools and modern agricultural machinery to the farmers in the farmer relief package. The Punjab government has allocated a budget of about 12 billion rupees to provide the machinery. Punjab Green Tractor Scheme
The Government of Punjab has also launched the Punjab Green Tractor Scheme. Under this scheme, farmers of Punjab will be given a special discount on the purchase of tractors. Ms Maryam Nawaz said that farmers would be given a 50% discount on the purchase of small tractors and a 70% discount on the purchase of large tractors. Only registered and eligible farmers of Punjab will get this discount.
A budget of around 30 has been allocated for providing special relief to farmers under the Punjab Tractor Scheme. Ms. Maryam Nawaz said that if the need is felt, the budget will increase.

Solar System For Farmers
Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif has also announced the provision of solar systems to farmers under the Punjab Farmer Relief Package. He said that after providing the solar system, the irrigation problems of the farmers will be solved. These solar systems will be provided to the farmers in easy installments so that they do not have to face any difficulty in paying the installments.
Farmers will get better land productivity through solar energy. It will help them to get rid of heavy electricity bills.
